Edition 2015

"Festival Musica Sibrii" this year brings to the public a varied musical and artistic offer, that joins some concerts by I Solisti Ambrosiani Baroque Ensemble with events by guest artists.

In particular, a recital for spanish guitar and theorbo by Simone Vallerotonda (May 30), young interpreter of international importance, and a concert by the duo Mvsica Perdvta (Renato Criscuolo baroque cello and Alberto Bagnai harpsichord and recorder), Saturday, July 4.

Research and experimentation with the female vocal ensemble Musica Picta on 11 July, which will perform the famous Gloria RV 589 by Antonio Vivaldi. 

Probably composed for the young girls of the Ospedale della Pieta Venice, this opus will be performed here with a staff of only women, in order to give back to the public the original sound.

Words and music on July 19: sonnets of Shakespeare with coeval musics for soprano, violin and harpsichord (I Solisti Ambrosiani).

To complete the program, the conference "Le stagioni del Barocco", which aims to provide an overview of this artistic period full of nuances and peculiarities.

Finally, two expositions of painting, by artist Elisabetta Neri, where musical suggestions and landscape merge, creating works of art specifically dedicated to the event.
